Investing in the top 1% companies ain’t rocket science
It’s a combination of hard data, facts, figures, and sometimes gut.
I’m Rohit, and after more than a decade in finance and crypto, I’m now going back to what I love the most, write data driven thesis on the two most asymmetric trades of our lifetime.
Crypto and AI.
I know this sounds clichéd, yet another research service on the most talked about and viral tech categories capturing the zeitgeist. If I were you, I’d be as skeptical subscribing to yet another Substack on these topics.
But before you jump the gun, I want you to pause and consider exactly 3 reasons for why I think you should:
Crypto and AI are divisive. Crypto for better of worse has earned a bad rep, and AI posters (including the so-called analysts) are doomsday posters. The reality is somewhere in the middle. I’m going to strip away the emotions, and build my thesis ground up from facts, figures, and data you can’t ignore.
My Investment track record: As a former Seeking Alpha finance writer, my performance has been pretty solid (not a brag, just stating facts). You can review my complete portfolio performance of all my picks, and revel over the fact that I beat the S&P500 by over 97 percentage points in the past decade
Finally, and this is the most important reason. I don’t care about your money. This Substack will always remain free. I will keep a public dashboard of my actual investments, and nothing I publish will ever be a sponsored recommendation.
So now that I’ve hopefully convinced you to give it a go, here’s what I plan to do with this channel:
Post one memo per week (and no more)
Focus on facts, figures (all sourced and cited for verification)
Build out my thesis from first principles, not narratives
Admit openly when I’m wrong
I hope you’ll have as much fun reading those as I do writing them.
Thanks again for stopping by!
